I love Huhot!. Their food is amazing, and I love that I can make my dish as spicy as I want. No having to question the waitress on how hot things really are.
It’s no B.D.s…. The selection of food was probably half of what B.D.’s Mongolian has, the meat was all frozen, and sauces didn’t seem to be all that flavorful (and I PILED them on for the 2nd round) and they didn’t give me the correct soup that I ordered. On top of that, the rice they gave us was old (there were a couple bites that I almost broke a tooth on) we only got twp tortillas (for two people!) and our server never came back around for me to request more tortillas and fresh rice. Somehow when I pushed my plate away when I started to feel ill, he was right there to grab it and bring the bill. I’m normally happy with any restaurant I eat at and am by no means a restaurant snob, but I was definitely not satisfied with the food or service.
Uhhhh….. Food is awful. It was gross. If you have been to Flat Top Grill or similar (very good), you would understand the difference. The food at Hu Hot is not fresh and you are basically warming up frozen product, what is special about that.
They have the best crab Rangoon. Not too sweet with really thin crispy wrappers
Everything great at HuHot. Thought I’d write a positive review as the only other one was negative. Went on Sunday, 1/17/10 at noon and was crowded, but no problems moving through. Food was excellent for all at our party and staff very pleasant and timely. No sickness either! Could see how one would get ill if they ate too much, ate very hot/spicy and body couldn’t handle, but otherwise a non-issue. Would recommend.
