Meatballs. We used to live in Kenosha and this was our favorite Italian restaurant. While we were in town we stopped by for a meatball bomber and mojos. The bomber was slopped together on the worst bun. The meatballs were tasteless and not cooked all the way. Mojos were good as usual. This place has gone downhill since the sons took over.
Luigi’s is poor quality in everything they do. ALL of there topping on the Pizza are canned, its disgusting. There sause is OVER cooked and gross. Very poor service and always gets my order wrong. I NO longer will support a business that does not care about the product they are serving to hard working americans. Luigis is disgusting
We were extremely disappointed! The lasagna looked like thepan scrapings, found a metal shaving in thesoup, mojos tasted fishy, pizza crust was way thick and flourey, and the stuffed shells were very salty. We have been coming here forever and like to bring out of town guests but last night was really disappointing.
Canned mushrooms – yuck!. Luigis Pizza Kitchen has been described elsewhere as the best pizza in Kenosha. I dont agree. The pizza is okay, but not great. They use canned mushrooms on the pizza…yuck! Just that alone made the pizza somewhat un-appetizing to me, so I dont have much else to say about it.
Good, Local Pizza. We were in Kenosha for a baseball tournament and looking for some good, local pizza…which is what we got at Luigi’s. Sauce was tasty and the toppings were plenty, which made for a solid pizza. The place was full of what appeared to be local families, and the pasta dishes were HUGE. Prices were very moderate. I would recommend as a place off the beaten path with a solid pizza. Next time, though, I might try one of the pasta dishes. Looked great!
Good stuff, their stuffed green peppers are INCREDIBL. I’ve never had better. I do have a question though: are their mojos gluten-free?
