Like in Italy!!!. When in Rome… I was so happy to find this place in Kenosha… Great quality food and definitely Italian flavors, like in Italy… Worth it’s price… Excellent service and the staff very knowledgeable… Can’t wait to try it out on the patio… do as the Romans do!!!
Glad we returned. It’s been 6 years or so since we have been here. Had the gnocci with braised lamb…perfect. My bride had the ravioli with marinara. Also nicely done. This is high end Italian food in a area where you can get a lot of decent traditional Italian fare. This is a cut above the rest.
Mediocre italian. If this is the best Kenosha has to offer we are all in trouble.Five years ago this restaurant was the best in town, but my latest visit I found the food to be of much lower quality and higher priced to boot – not a good combination. It would still be an okay restaurant if they didn’t treat it as fine dining, but as is you are better off spending this kind of money elsewhere.
Worst restaurant I’ve eaten at in Kenosha. The food was so bland, it had no taste.
Best REAL Italian in Kenosha. Great service & atmosphere.
Better in summer. This used to be our favorite restaurant in Kenosha, but our last visit didn’t measure up to their usual standards. We had the $44 Menu in Honor of our 44th President. The CAPESANTE DORATE was tasty, but on of my scallops wasn’t cleaned properly, so I was biting down quite a bit of grit, and my wife’s was too salty. The RAVIOLI CON PROSCUITTO E COSTE had too much proscuitto in it, so was very salty. The COSTOLETTE DI AGNELLO AL FORNO was very good, although their AGNELLO AL FORNO on the regular menu is much better. The desert, FIORE DI LATTE DI CIOCCALATO, was very good.My wife also had the matching wine flights, and thought the wine pairings were good.Overall it was good, just needed a little tweaking to make it perfect. We will definitely go back, but probably not until late spring/early summer, when we can sit outside in the patio area.
By far my favorite restaurant in Kenosha! Great food, great service, great atmosphere! Love it!
