Do take out. You’ll be so repulsed at how dirty it is in there, you’ll loose you appetite.
To service. I have never been to Ron’s Place till Saturday 05/14/12. After we put in our order we waited for an hour. The waitress said that one of the cooks called in. And if she said anything to the cook he would just be slower. She also said she would take off one of the sandwich we sat then she offered us a ROOT BEER we told her no. She said that she none of her tables have gotten their food yet. Me and my daughter just looked at each other and said the cook doesn’t look the waitress. We LEFt. As we were leaving we looked around and there were plenty of empty talbes downstairs and up. So they cant say it busy. DOn’t know if I will go back.
Why does this place get a 92% rating? The food is mediocre..the place is dirty..they need an update but should restore the wood in tie place. Get a new jukebox. The only thing this place has going for itself is the long islands. I guess after a couple nothing else matters.

Tasty burgers. Ron’s Place isn’t your typical bar food. Sure, they have the same things you’ll find at other joints – deep fried foods, burgers, fries, and drinks but here they do it at a level above the rest.From the minute you walk in you can tell that this is a place that serves good food. The atmosphere is inviting and the wooden booths give you a level of privacy and space that I personally enjoy.So do yourself a favor and stop down and try out one of their famous 5 x 5’s… and don’t forget your order of curly fries. Depending in the burger some come with regular cut fries but nothing complements these burgers better than the seasoned curly fries.
Atomic bomb. The dark wood charm of the interior sets the stage for a simple yet comfortable meal. It felt like we were in the basement of a friend’s house. The jukebox blared classic rock hits, perhaps music still Top-40 on the Wisconsin charts. The TVs were strategically placed for those at the bar and throughout the cozy seating area. We docked at the bar and ordered two of Ron’s interpretations of the Long Island; she enjoyed the Maca-ron-do while I devoured the Long Beach. The limited menu offers an array of sandwiches, deep-fried snacks, and daily soup specials. I indulged in the special Atomic 5×5 burger that featured a half-pound patty smothered in nacho cheese and jalapenos and served with a massive helping of seasoned curly fries. I had to give up driving duties as I feared an impending heart attack. An evening at Ron’s Place is the perfect way to get a head start on an extra layer for winter warmth.
Enjoyable…. Great burgers, 5 x 5, the best long island tea in a mason jar. Have had many meals here with and without drinks. I would return,,,
