Lunch. Had the Reuben and it was superb. Great all around meal
Passable, albeit marginally warm, food for mid-range pricing. Given the extremely slow service and 45 minute food prep ( for a sandwich ) I won’t be returning in the future.
Are you f-ing kidding! I wa…. Are you f-ing kidding!I was accosted like i was an some sort of illegal alien because my kids did not have an ID and i was unable to show prPoof they were mine. Service was refused until proof was provided. How many two year olds carry ID? Bodega used to be a fun place but they lost my business. Who are they trying to protect with this assinine policy?Lots of places serve alcohol and we have never had any issue bringing our kids or have had to sign something to prove they are our offspring.Food and beer are good but avoid this place if you are planning to bring minors.
What?. As you can probably tell from the reviews this is mainly a bar with lots of beer. Food selection is minimal and average.
Wonderful all around. I was in town for the first time and had searched for a place to get a good beer and a good meal, in that order. Bodega was the overwhelming choice so I had to check it out. I was concerned about the menu, but once I was at the place, I found everything to be wonderful. There are over 400 different beers available and a staff(Alicia) that is familiar enough with almost all of them that she can make an educated suggestion. Obviosly the beer was wonderful, but my most favorite part was the food. I chose the bar b que beef sandwich. Let me tell you, I am not easily impressed, but I sure was with this place. I suggest that if you are in the area and looking for a great atmosphere, great beer, and a great meal, please choose Bodega.
Excellent!!! Was in LaCrosse today and found this place by chance. Great food great staff great beer and so yes I would say this place is worth a trip.
Care for a Brew?. Bodega is your place! I like stouts and porters, not the slop what is in Coors, Bud or Miller Lights/Lite and Bodega is a place to get the beer you desire. Knowledgable staff, friendly and talkative except when very busy. A great menu for sandwiches, get there early on Fridays for the fish tacos. Hungry, have a Cubano or Rueben. As a Rush Limbaugh/Herman Cain conservative, the left-socialist signage is a bit much, but never carries over to the staff or attitude. Yes! We can all get along…with a great beer!
