Amazing Food & Outstanding service!. First time visitor. Outstanding menu complimented by an knowledgable & attentive waitress. Terrific artichoke dip appetizer, served with superb garlic toasts, followed by salad, shrimp, steak & rib combination plate. The steak & shrimp were outstanding. Made a special occasion even more special.
The very best LaCrosse has to offer!. Just went there last week to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I had the extra cut Prime Rib, my wife had the Chicken AlfredoBoth were melt in tour mouth awesome. Both had to go boxes.Must have had too much of there garlic toast. (TO DIE FOR)With cocktails and dinner, came to $56.00. Not bad for a great night out.Diggers blows Freight House, and Piggy’s away! By quality, AND price.
No place better in town. Always go there for a special evening. Look forward to the garlic bread. The ribs, the steaks, the service, are always the best. I will always go to Diggers first. RcBLaCrosse
Digger’s Sting has great food and drinks. I recommend trying their martini called the Marilyn Monroe. The atmosphere is calm, soothing…a great place for a first date.
Simply the Best. Digger’s Sting is small and modest in appearance, but the food is spectacular. I will not order a steak anywhere else in La Crosse, and the seafood, ribs, and prime rib are also extremely good. The soups are home-made, and the garlic toast is something special. If you are in the mood for a cocktail, try the Moscow Mule served in a copper mug. You will not be disappointed! The wait staff is courteous and helpful, and they must retain staff because we have seen the same servers over and over throughout the years. I enthusiastically recommend this local eating establishment!
Quality Food. My other favorite in LaCrosse. Best garlic toast in the world. I am also biased about this place as I have gone here for 25 years too. Their staff are friendly, everything on their menu is fresh and scratch cooked. Dinner salads are also good. The best testimony I can make is that they are busy almost any night a week which is an accomplishment in a small town like LaCrosse.
Not worth the trip. We ordered the Chicken Alfredo and it was not good at all. From the start the caesar salad was soggy and the garlic bread was nothing more than olive oil soaked french bread with no garlic. The Chicken Alfredo was bland and the homemade sauce was so thick that it coated your entire mouth. It’s unfortunate that this is classified as one of the top restaurants in La Crosse. I’m not sure what the guests raving about it are ordering, but for the price of this entree and others on the menu, there are better options in La Crosse by far.
