Easter Brunch – very unimpressed. There wasn’t much on brunch and most of it wasn’t good. Won’t go back .
We go to Hackberry’s once or twice a month for breakfast/brunch. The Usual is a great deal and delicious! Get the bacon (if you enjoy the occasional meat), it is exquisite. Hash towns are flavorful and crispy. Best thing is it is all organic and/or local. Great coffee too!
STOP SERVING BIG PARTIES. So, does it make sense, if you have 20 tables, to take up 18 of them to serve 4 large parties??? Who the hell is managing this place? I was turned away this last weekend, along with another party, because of the large groups taking up too many tables . . . NOT HAPPY. Regular customers are clearly not a priority.07 Mar, 2011GET SOME SHADES!. This is a great restaurant . . . if you don’t mind being blinded by the lamps right outside the windows. What idiot designed this place?!?! Good salads, fairly good entrees, no frills, reasonably priced. Desserts would be great if they weren’t in that huge dessert case soaking up the taste of freezer burn. Would be nice if they learned to cook beans nicely and if the sausage had a tablespoon of grease. Horrid breakfast experience, will never return except when I’m forced to b/c it’s the only decent veggie-friendly place in town.
