Awesome Time!. We come back to visit friends every year in La Crosse and always make a point to plan a night at Huck’s. This year we caught Joe Cody – the weather might not have been perfect but the night was! The staff there just rolls with it and made sure we had a memorable time, yet again. See you next year!!
Fun for all ages. I took my picky kids to Huck Finns and they loved it. I’m not sure if it was the burgers, the chicken strips or the coloring page/placemats that they liked best. I loved my Seafood Stuffed Mushrooms – Giant portabella mushrooms stuffed with a delicious seafood stuffing. Good food, good drinks and good for all ages!
Dinner with a view!. We put our boat in the water this weekend and stopped in for a burger. Burgers were awesome and it was so nice to sit on the patio and take in the view of the river after such a long winter! We were able to gas up right there after dinner – super easy. Will absolutely be back!
Love it – will definately go back!. I had the Cranberry Chicken Pecan Salad with Poppy Seed Dressing. The fresh greens were sprinkled with bleu cheese, candied pecans, dried cranberries, red onion and tomato. My husband had a cup of Wild Mushroom and Brie Bisque with his burger and both were phenomenal! The food was great and the service was excellent.
Ugg, No Good. First, showed up with a coupon that the restaurant had sponsered only to find out that it was no longer valid in their eyes. So 2 for 1 entrees becomes full price. Overpriced drinks, my wife likes to drink, but even she had to send the drink back it was too alcoholic (long island), and for that price it shouldn’t be a mix either. Worst beer cheese soup I’ve ever eaten. Tasted like melted cheese slices, not even slices made from milk. My wife had chicken which was super dry and I had a sandwich (can’t remember what it was) but it was so-so, nothing to write about obviously. Not going back again. Luckily they got the $50 out of me when they had the chance.
Always good. We go to Huck Finn’s in the summer when we arrive via boat and also get in for lunches or dinner. Great food, love their Ruben, and fair prices.
Cool location.. Cool atmosphere…. Decent prices. I got this philly with buffalo sauce on it and didn’t really care for it, but my wife had a salad and said it was fantastic.
