Independent coffee shop, frequented by students and locals. They serve coffee, cookies and muffins, and have a limited wine selection too. I ordered an almond joy latte and it was delicious!
Jules is the best coffee shop in La Crosse. Espresso drinks are always done well, locals rave about the vegetarian chili (it really is delicious and extremely filling), and personally, I can’t live without the walnut chocolate chip cookies. It’s a great place to meet friends and/or wonder into the adjacent Pearl Street Books and Kroner’s Hardware (neither of which should be missed if you’re visiting La Crosse)! krismlars.com
Awesome!. This is a coffee house, not a full restaurant. If you are looking for a great cup of coffee and maybe a nice homemade scone – you NEED to stop here. One of the best latte’s i’ve had. We were only in town for the weekend and stopped here twice. If i’m ever even close to La Crosse again, we’ll stop here!
Great place!. Fabulous . . . except for the weak food offerings . . . how about a nice 3 layer chocolate cake? Or a nice orange cake to cleanse the palate? Ok cookies and scones, but how about more food on the menu? And, how about having a consumption minimum per hour to kick out the trash? Hard to work sometimes with so many computers going. Wish the owner would move down the street to the large, empty building that has twice the space . . .
GOOD COFFEE HOUSE. Jules coffee is a nice little shop serving good joe with a sidewalk seating during the warmer months. Off topic a little, I don’t know why people are surprised that there are no vegan options at restaurants in La Crosse, I mean for god’s sake we are in Wisconsin!
Like other places that offer vegan options in La Crosse, Jule’s doesn’t have a lot of vegan options, just one or two depending on what the soup is. The bakery is not vegan.La Crosse would do well to have at least one place with decent vegan baked goods, still looking!Jule’s is a classic coffeehouse, with a great local bookstore attached to it. It is worth visiting.
Hard to find a cafe that makes a fine espresso and creamy cappucino with a smile. Jules nails it everytime.
