GREAT PIZZA!!!. If you want a new dining exper. stop by this place on a friday or sat starting at about 5pm. The pizza combinatioins are so tasty and unique and the small slices they give you (i dont eat the crust) make easy to try several types. The cheesburger, Big mac, Gyro, taco, chkn ranch, just everything tast super fresh.It is also a buffett, so if they come to your table and offer you a small slice you go up to the buffett for more of that type. Also endless salad bar is included with your price. Its a family place too… and often the place is packed by 7pm. But the crowd moved in and out pretty quickly. I say go for it!! IF YOU ARE IN LA CROSSE STOP HERE!!!
Great Variety. Wonderful selection of pizzas at exploratory surgery in the evenings. Good salad bar too. Greasy taco meat. Dessert pizza is amazing (try the skittles).
Classic old place. Pizza Doctors has been at its present location for many years. Their pizza buffets offer great variety — including such odd items as dessert pizzas. The salad bar is pretty complete and pretty good. We get there a few times a year.
Awesome pizza. I love this place! Unless you are strictly a fancy pizza eater, this place is great. My favorites are potato pizza and cheesy pretzel. It is definitely worth the price for how many different kinds of pizza they have!
Pizza Heaven. The outside of the building looks a bit old, but that look doesn’t carry over into the inside of the restaurant, where you will find clever plays on the hospital theme throughout–little IVs for the soft drinks and beer, emergency rooms for bathrooms, outpatient waiting area for people coming in to pick up an order or just waiting for a table, etc. I think the pizza here is about the quality you would find at CiCi’s–however, Pizza Doctors has more unique flavors than you are going to find anywhere else. We went for the Exploratory Surgery buffet to be able to try some of these unique flavors. When we first got there at about 5 pm or so, there weren’t a lot of pizzas in the buffet area, and I thought the slices were overly small, and about half the tables were in use. I grabbed four small slices of pizza and sat down. Almost immediately, and continuing the whole time we were there, the servers brought around new pizzas that came out. They didn’t refer to them by the name in the menu, but of what they actually were (big mac pizza as opposed to the Doctor Mac, etc). When we left, the place was full, and there were an over abundance of pizzas on the pizza buffet line.
Horrendous. This pizza here is horrendous. Also, the place is dirty. It’s not very cheap either. There isn’t much else to say aside from stay away.
