Outstanding!. Tried the yakatori…best sauce ever! Temporary shrimp appetizer was as expected, crisply coated/ not greasy. Sushi Deluxe had a nice array with generous cuts of fish. The Godzilla roll was excellent as well. Highly or commended!

Great food. I wanted to add more than one picture to my review.19 Jan, 2015Best Sushi Experience. I have been to the Sushi Pirate twice now. Both times I had excellent dishes!! I was very impressed with the taste, texture, and the all over appearance of my dishes. I took pictures this time so all could see. It was no problem asking for more ginger either which is great since I love ginger on each piece of sushi I eat. The only grip I have is the waiter….we had 2 of them. The 1st waiter did not look as tho he wanted to be there at all, also the ear buds were something to be desired. The 2nd waiter was excellent and courteous, making sure we had what we needed. I will definitely go back for more. This time I had the Miso soup, California roll, and Kani roll…My partner in crime had the Beef Teriyaki, Spicy Tuna roll, and Miso Soup with House salad.

While I checked that I like Sushi Pirate, I have to utter a couple gripes. 1) it doesn’t know how to prepare pork katsu. It is not supposed to be eggy and should be well fried. It’s also supposed to come with a plum-like sauce. Currently, it’s one note, that nor being mushy blandness. 2) Bento boxes should be available on weekends. I don’t like spending $70 for lunch for a family of 4.

Worst experience ever!!!. Went there for my lunchbreak which is 1 hour long. Arrived there a good 10 mins before the table next to me and they recieved their food 15 mins before me. When I asked the waitress about the wait time she replied back that she didn’t realize I had to leave…. Never again will I go there again!!!

Really, compared to what?. Sushi was ok. Akwardly constructed and mediocre rice variety. Raw fish on rice is not sushi. Bento box, seriously, terriyaki chicken on a bed of frozen peas and carrots. Really, frozen peas and carrots? Where ever did that come from. Oh and that pompous little man, college aged, self declared expert in all things sushi. Where did you find him? Overbearing, easily caught knee deep in peas and carrots. Remember some of those folks are your grandparents age may have been eating sushi longerthan you’ve been eating. Keep quiet. Impress with service not with your ability to read and repeat.
