Comet is fun. Comet is cool. They serve up nice pretty good ok comforty food, and good drinks and beer. Customers love breakfast here so much that it can be difficult to be seated. Service is, ok for this sort o place – have witnessed bar staff ignore customers to the benefit of their clique, which shouldnt happen, but still this is a good joint when expectations are properly aligned.

My wife found this place on the food network app. We arrived just as they were changing from the breakfast menu to the dinner menu. We opted for dinner. We had the open face meatloaf (awesome), big burger(really good) with fresh cut fries, Mac and cheese with peas and ham(superb). Service was great and food was as expected from the previous reviews. If you are in Milwaukee… This place is worth a visit.
Really good food and environment. Great service as well with everything being timely despite arriving kind of close to closing time. Would def go back.
Excellent apps and entrees. The roast beef and cheese sandwich with hot peppers is the single best sandwich I’ve ever had. The mac & cheese with bacon is so good it should be a controlled substance.The only reasons I gave this place a 4.0 out of 5.0 were: inattentive service; and the double chocolate cupcake was dry. I’ll have the pie next time.
Bacon wrapped meatloaf was awesome! Friendly & attentive staff. Prices are fantastic. Next will try their thanksgiving dinner in a ball! Would totally recommend this place.
