Absolutely ridiculous service. It is up to the server to add gratuity on the bill or not ( great restaurant policy, never heard of) it takes way too long to refill the buffet. The food could be sitting there from the day before. The lobster and crab are always out on the buffet. The same glass is used to refill the soda and the server does not whose glass is who. I will NOT recommended this restaurant to anyone. Absolute garbage
bang for buck… BEST deal in town! Best quality sushi… NO, maybe not… However it is absolutely amazing for the price!!! (Not to even mention the variety.)
$20 per person without drinks. To pricey for the quality of food they serve. This should be more like $12 for adults and $5 for kids. Sashimi is limited to 30 small pieces per table. And the server does not pay attention to their table. Had to wait a long time for her to get to our table. I would not recommend this restaurant. Then the sushi we ordered took about 30 minutes after being ordered. 3.5 out of 10 stars.
Overall – horrible. After waiting 3 times the estimated time the four of us put in our full sushi I order. 40 minutes later, half the sushi showed up and she said they were working on the last ones. 30 minutes later 4 came out then 30 after that the last two finally came … For the sushi we put in right away for. It was ridiculous, tables came and went and she didn’t fill water glasses while we sat there for 2 hours and she had no sympathy. I won’t be returning because they can’t handle busy times and don’t care.03 Jan, 2015Overall – horrible. We have been frequent customers and more often than not we have bad service. Today for lunch we arrived, waited triple the estimated time which wasn’t even the bad part, the four of us put our order in for all the sushi we wanted and only half came out 35 minutes after we ordered. She said they were working on the last rolls (6). Finally 30 minutes later 4 came out while we watched tables come and go. Finally after 2 hours of being there the last two rolls came that, again, we ordered at the very beginning. The waitress didn’t get the manager, wasn’t empathetic at all and left water glasses empty. From forgetting stuff and not caring to us being forced to be there over 2 hours while tables came and went I won’t be coming back, at least during remotely busy times because apparently they can’t handle it.
Lovely server, cheap prices, rolls ok…. but warm sushi…. just…no.. Went here for a kid birthday for lunch. The kid likes sushi. My advice would be, if you do go here, stick to the rolls and hand rolls. They were ok. However I would stay away from the sushi. Some of the sushi was warm. WARM…. The unagi came out looking a sad mess. Masago was just fine. Salmon was, again, warm. The buffet had some very mediocre dishes you would get at a poor chinese buffet. On the positive side: the waitress was so very nice and kind. They brought out a lovely fried ice cream for the birthday girl. Very nice people! Also the price is soooooo cheap, and perhaps, hence the poor quality sushi. I mean, the small kid ate for $2.59! Bigger kids for $6.50! Again, Stick to rolls and hand rolls, and you will be ok.
Comparable to any good sushi place in mke. I come here often, nice atmosphere and pretty awesome made to order sushi and also has a buffet ! Probably the best deal in Mke for sure.
Awful.. Over $20 for lukewarm dishes that were either ruined by being covered in sticky, goopy sauce, or filled with mayo or cheese, ruining any of the healthfulness Japanese food can otherwise offer. Service was sketchy at best, although I saw no fewer than 8 employees working during a slow Tuesday evening. The sushi was a disgrace, and the chefs should be ashamed for serving such miserable, cheap food.
