Pretentious service. Terrible experience. Our waitress was awful. She filled the coffee so high that we couldnt put milk or sugar in it. She failed to tell us that they were out of bisciuts and gravy, one the 10 items on the menu. She was so impersonal. I asked for silverware, she went and got me a handlful and pointed to where I should put them, (apparantly I’m doing her sidework for her?) Food took FOREVER 45min+ at 2pm. The omlete was so thin it was crispy and the fillings were scant. The only thing that impressed us was the hostess. She hustled the whole time we were there and was pleasant and helpful. The waitress tat worked this past Sunday afternoon should be ashamed of herself. She made us feel as though we intruded on her day.WON’T BE BACK.
Addicting Fries & Superb Happy Hour Specials!. I’ve never had a meal at the Garage, but boy do they have the BEST french fries! Come in for happy hour and get half-price beers (GOOD beers) and $5 appetizers. The Garage holds a special place in my heart as the first place I went out in Milwaukee, and it set the standard high. I love the atmosphere, the music, and the eats & drinks!
Terrible service. We sit down it takes a while for our waitress to get to us. People where so unfriendly the bartender looked angry. We walked out and took our business else where sound the neighborhood
I’m still trying to figure out why we only got one menu and the party was of 3. Didn’t even get to eat because we waited 15 mins and the waitress never came back to the table after she gave us water. It was empty by the way.
Great Place. Terrible Service!. Such a great place but they hire the most unfriendly people, not to mention plan on spending half of your day there because service and food take forever! After waiting for our meals for over 45 minutes, the plates come out piping hot (not the food.. the plates) which only means they have been sitting under a heat lamp for who knows how long. If you need a check split… good luck; a few times the server told me they just can’t do that (uhm hellllllo its 2012 and we are not idiots, every system can split a check) but this one lucky time the waitress split our checks, however she was not happy about it and threw our check presenter on the table and stormed off without a thank you or have a great day. As a waitress myself I think its a joke the lack of good customer service this place has; if it weren’t for there great location and patio seating, good luck with repeat customers!
