The chicken in the pho chicken is really tough. It’s not hard to make chicken tender . Broth is good but I won’t come back .
I think this was the worst Vietnamese meal I’ve ever eaten. The vermicelli and meat were totally flavourless and the noodles were greasy. And we were the only customer s there. I won’t be going back.
Good, friendly quick service and great pho. Needed a quick lunch this week and decided to try Pho Nam – it was not a disappointment. The waitress was very friendly an the pho was tasty and beansprouts, basil and lime good and fresh – will be definitely going back again.The only downside was they were cash only – but that won’t keep me from coming back.
No For Now. I wasn’t overly disappointed with the fare at Pho Nam, but wasn’t that impressed either and ultimately it earns a thumbs down from me. The dishes we had (grilled pork chops and combination fried rice) were both okay-ish, but bland. We didn’t try the pho, which is the star attraction here, so I may have to reconsider this vote in the future.The interior doesn’t have much character–strip mall generic–but is clean and spacious enough. Service was friendly and quick. Prices are fairly cheap.Grade: C+
If you are looking for a decent bowl of good pho, this place is a good place to hit up. Decent pho for a good price. Happy dining!
I discovered what Pho is :). I have never eaten at a vietnamese restaurant before, so it was all new to me. We ordered the Pho with chicken, I had looked up what it was before hand, but wanted to get my husband to eat it without telling him. So, we ordered and after he was done, I told him it has oxtails in it! It was pretty funny, his face was priceless. We also ordered chicken stir fry with egg noodles, it was very good, but hardly any veggies in it, mostly noodles. The hoisin sauce on the table was awesome. We also ordered a veggie spring roll, it was pretty good and served with an oil. I asked the waitress what it was and she was clueless…..so….okay. The waitress was friendly and all, but she was kind of not up on what was up with our meal. It was a clean place, got seated right away, the prices were good and food seemed high quality.
