The best authentic Mexican in Mantiowoc. The food has the real flavor you expect from a family restaurant and they are happy to adjust to your particular taste. I love Mexican food but am not a fan of cilantro (go figure) and they lightened up on that with no problem. Had the taco combo with burrito and extra red and green sauce- no problem for the extra sides- and was delicious. Will definitely recommend and will be back.
Excelente. I have been to numerous Mexican restaurants (authentic and otherwise) from Racine, Milwaukee, Fox Cities, and Green Bay. My favorite is this little unassuming place hidden next to their market. Everything is fresh-tasting at El Alamo; their amazing guacamole is made to order and is so good I would go in for that alone. But instead, I attempt to hold back to enjoy one of their entrees. From pork enchilada with green salsa to their camarones ala diablo, the food is amazing. And the service! The last visit, we had a fun and energetic waitress. Go! You will not be disappointed.
