Not great. My soup was really boring and not very good at all. Our service was just OK. The cheese plate was nice, but that was the saving grace of our meal. They were completely out of the vegetarian entree, and they forgot the potatoes we ordered entirely. We likely won’t return.
This new restaurant on the square prides itself in using local ingredients from nearby farms and focusing on seasonal dishes. As it was a Friday night, we were lucky to get in. However, the service took forever once we were seated. Even to get our drinks took awhile. The best thing I ordered was their T-Rex drink, which was mixed well. It was smooth and not very sweet. They only had one entree that was vegetarian, which I ordered. For $16, the size and price of the dish was a let down. The forest bowl consisted of lentils, kale, and sweet potato pure, not having much substance to it. I left extremely hungry compared to others who had the burger with salad, which they enjoyed. It took awhile to get the check as well. The reason this restaurant received a 3.5 is due to the cocktail and the intimate, beautiful ambiance of the restaurant.
