I was underwhelmed. Had heard really good things about this place. It was sold to me as authentic Mexican food, which it was, but lacked the quality flavor of so many other places I’ve tried.
Authentic. I love this place! simple and delicious authentic Mexican at its best. Delicious tacos, tortas, etc. at really good prices. The service isn’t spectacular, but the taste and quality makes up for it.

Cheap, Clean & Delicious!!!. This is one of the more authentic Mexican places I’ve found in the Midwest. The servers are very friendly and food comes out quick, even during busy periods. I really appreciate the addition of family recipes on the menu. Prices are as low as anywhere in town. This is also certainly one of the cleanest establishments on State.
Cheap, friendly, not at all fancy, and open late. From lunch to drunchies I LOVE this place!

Found this place on accident but sooooo glad we did. Very quick and polite service. About 8 tables and small counter but a excellent menu. Probably the best pastor near I ever had and the chicken toastada was amazing. See the pictures of the self made combo plate if the pastor gordita, chicken toastada and steak taco. Seriously if you are on state street in Madison you Must go here. We will be back.
