I enjoyed the food. My steak was cooked perfectly, and had a great char. My only complaint is with the service. My waitress looked to be in her early 20’s, and was more interested in flirting with the male customers than paying a single female more than a moments notice. I hope the guys gave her a nice tip.
Amazing! kinks worked out!!. We had a fabulous time for our anniversary dinner! Atmosphere -superb! Staff- friendly, helpful, professional, no long waits!! Crab cakes – wow! Best I have ever had!!! No breading filler! Tenderloin was perfect as it was! Did not need any sauce or seasoning although I am sure those additions would be lovely. They got it right last night!!!!
Disappointing and Overpriced. 9-19-18 DinnerWaitress overly enthusiastic about the food, pushy and a bit pretentious. Steak was over cooked, unseasoned and took too long to be served after ordering. Sauce was cold. Mushrooms the texture of kidney beans were inedible. Rice pilaf was under cooked. Would have been quite tasty if it had been warm. Caesar was very sparse and not the caliper expected of this restaurant. The meat, ordered to accompany it – never was served (even after informing the waitress).Atmosphere was actually took dark to see what you were trying to eat.Very disappointed. Food wasn’t even marginal and it was very over priced for what it was.
Thumbs up-barely. First let me say I can be quite critical of service at a restaurant. I want it professional and confident but not intrusive. At Rare Steakhouse it is definitely intrusive. It is almost as if they feel that you are there in part to be with them. Privacy has no consideration in the dining experience at the Rare. Our conversations were often interrupted. It just frankly got annoying.Food was good. Very expensive. I got lamb chops. Poor choice on my part. Very sparse serving. My wife got a tenderloin and was very happy. Great wine list. Beautiful atmosphere.
