Love the atmosphere. My husband and I go to Samba at least twice a year, he always chooses it as his birthday meal!. The restaurant itself is elegant and romantic, although on nights with live music the music can be quite loud. The first time or two I went to Samba I wasn’t that impressed because I felt the meat was overcooked and dry, however, one day we happened to be off of work and we went earlier than usual and it was a completely different experience as the meat has not been kept in the warmer for hours. Now we make it a point to go early and is is absolutely delicious. Food aside it also has a fun vibe because of the rodizos that bring the meat to you on long skewers.
Lousy waitress. Ii fortunately we had a totally inept waitress with the initials KD. She took our drink order then left for good. I hailed the hostess to get it ten minutes later and a kind bus boy got us refills. Good thing she did remember the drinks she never filled on our bill. Would have been more understanding if it were busy but it wasn’t. Otherwise the food was great and plentiful! Too bad a poor service delivery put a damper on our experience there.
Downhill. Went last night and it was very disappointing, as compared to past visits there. Service was lousy despite not being crowded. Never cleared plates from table. Never brought bread to table. Gouchos came around very infrequently. Food is downhill — way too much seasoning. Parmesan pork and sausage too salty to even eat. Past experiences the food and service was good and worth the price. Last night very much not the case. All the more disappointing as we had brought friends who had never been (and they are likely never to go again as a result).
Stuffed. Had the meat sweats for DAYS!
Delicious but filling. Samba is a fun restaurant with a unique atmosphere. The variety of foods is quite staggering, and portions are unlimited, so pace yourself. Otherwise I can guarantee you’ll be so full that you’ll be sick.
Many different items that are very good and some excellent. Some cured pork sausage was A+, but the waiter fumbled a piece into my lap. Only food issue was with dessert. They were 0 for two on the chocolate cake and the truffle assortment.
Everything my husband and I ate was delicious. Specially the pork sausages, balsamic goat cheese, chimichurri sauce and Brazilian nuts. Out first time eating at a Brazilian restaurant.
