Food is good. Not the best Thai food in Madison but close to home and convenient for us to walk to on a nice day. If your downtown don’t be afraid to try., just know theService sucks so don’t expect much there.
Best Plate in Madison. This is by far the best Thai food in Madison, the been thread noodle with beef is to die for, along with the pad Thai with beef. I’ve never had a bad meal at this joint, and have been going for 15 years, the service is a bit lacking, but that is not what I go for. I kind of enjoy picking my own beer out of their cooler.
Why is their score so high?. I love Thai food. I don’t consider this Thai food. This place would fit best in the category of generic Asian junk food from the mall. Since I live on the same block, I have been here multiple times for convenience sake, and each time the food and service got worse. The rice is always mushy and barely warm. The portions are large and prices are low, but the dishes taste like they were flavored with Tabasco and sugar. The servers also give me the feeling that they could care less about my business. They won’t be getting it any more.
ABSOLUTELY THE B E S T! can’t beat this Thai food. & if you like a lot of spice-get ****s
I had the pad thai with chicken, it was not very good. And there wasn’t much meat included, and was very fatty. Service was very slow, but the Thai iced tea was good. Other people in my party said their meals were ok.
Bad food. Don’t go.. The oil was rancid and the soup lukewarm with rubbery bits with the look of onions. That soup’s (Tom Yum) only taste was of salty stock blessed with a bit of chili oil–something like a consomm of dirty plate. We stopped eating after a few bites. The sour oil left a horrendous pasty, coating on the tongue. Yuk! Overall, imagine a Thai truck stop where last weeks food goes to be reheated on its way to having a flu named after it. By far, the worst meal I’ve ever had in Madison.
Best Pad Thai I’ve had in Madison. Hands down to their Pad Thai. Not too sweet like in other Thai restaurants. Probably one of the most authentic too. Warning- they’re pretty generous on the spiciness so if you don’t know how much heat you can take just ask for 1 star- spice level to be safe. I asked for medium (level 3) and that was too much to handle.
