Ok, the first thing that comes to my mind when I think of Ha Long Bay is the long waiting list they had. Man it was worth the wait. I am a hard core Pad Thai fan and when I came across reviews saying they have the best Pad Thai I got curious and visited them on a weekend (not sure though).There was huge wait line and it took hours to be precise 3 1/2 hours for us to get a table. Food – The food here is prepared by versatile chef I say this because anything you order here will taste damn good. Highly recommended is their Pad Thai and Pho Ga. Ambience – It is a bit crowded but clean. Service – Their service was utmost friendly and ask for suggestion and you will be advised accordingly. The only small set back is the long wait line (Reason for 4 stars) so better get ready for that but their food is worth the wait. One of the best in Madison.

I’ve been to Ha Long Bay several times both for lunch and dinner. It is always reliable and all dishes I’ve had have been decent. The vegetarian/tofu dishes have been amazing but at the times when I’ve ordered a chicken dish, the chicken has been a bit dry. Its always extremely popular and you often need to wait for 30-60 minutes. While the place is very good, it is slightly overrated and there are many other Thai places in Madison that are just as good.
