This is the location you want!. If you want the tasty tasty food they serve, this location is the Roman Candle you should be going to! The service at this one is actually good!
Favorite Madison Pizza. Roman Candle is my favorite area pizza and a recent trip to this location only confirmed that. The crust is thin, though not crispy, the toppings are fresh, and the sauce has a nice seasoning that helps set this place apart. There are a lot of specialties to choose from or just make your own. You can’t go wrong with Roman Candle. The interior is similar to the Middleton location, though space is at a premium here. Service is friendly, prices are reasonable (higher than national chains, but similar to most local spots), and you can play a board game while you wait. Grade: A
Fantastic Pizza and great service. They have the best local beer taps and the have Two Hearted. I had a ceasar salad which was a traditional ceasar which no one does anymore. We had the Roman Candle and the Prodessional. Dough was perfect and the topping were fresh and well balanced. Love it.
Pretty good thin crust pizza. Fresh toppings and almost always good or great service. I’ve only been to the Willy street location so I can’t vouch for middleton but I’ve never been disappointed. Kid friendly which is a plus but a bit pricey so I typically go to either paisan’s or greenbush.
Yum. One of the best pizza places in Madison. They also deserve major kudos for leaving the WI Restaurant Association over Scott Walker donations.
LOVE. The best pizza place in Madison! Great ambiance and the pizza is amazing. Garlic bread is great too!
Only good thing in our order was the cheese bread. It was GREAT! Everythinng else in the order, not so great. My Alfredo was dry. The pizza had barely any cheese on it. The experience felt like a California Pizza Kitchen experience.
