Sushi win. We love sushi. We have tried a number of sushi places in the Falls and in Milwaukee, and have not been abundantly impressed w any of them. When we walked through the doors we were transported from the strip mall storefront into a very modern chic Asian oasis. The food was delicious, including their version of the generic ginger dressing. The sushi was the best I’ve had in awhile, the plating was striking and beautiful, and the service was very friendly. This will be our sushi go to from now on!
Artistic and delicious!. I’m a Germantown resident that’s only introduction to Sushi was Pick n Save’s delicatessen’s yucky Sushi. No offense to them, but theirs should not be for sale. My daughter first brought home a take out order from Sakura. I believe they were Red Dragon Rolls and I’m sorry but forgot which cold sushi. I was so apprehensive remembering my first encounter of Pick n Saves nasty, overly fishy tasting Sushi. My daughter dipped the large sized piece in dipping sauce and told me to pop the entire piece in my mouth! All I can say is it was oh so YUMMY! I anticipated another piece! My daughter is 20 and hooked and now I am too! We went to the restaurant yesterday evening. When first entering in the lobby, I could smell a aroma therapy like fragrance (very clean and relaxing scent). Going into the restaurant was refreshing as it is not the typical asian like restaurant with silk framed dragons and tasseled lamps. It was modern, sheek and very clean. The bar and grill area was tastefully decorated with abalone tiling. Small square for the grill and larger squares for the bar. Upbeat Japenese music was playing in the back round. There were booths and tables. We were seated at a table, but requested a booth. Our arrival time was around 7:30pm . I was disappointed knowing that we were only one of two tables when we arrived. This is not a fast food restaurant. You realize this when your food is served. I was in awe of the beauty and preparation of the food. It was artistically displayed. The foods coloring, seasoning, appearance, fragrance was so delectable to my palette! This was a incredible restuarant that definetly should not be labeled as slow. We have all become way to fast paced in society. A number of people demand. speedy food preparation. This restuarant may not be for them, but it definetly is for me. The ginger dressing on the salad was also delicious! I bought a pint to bring home and made my myself another salad later in the evening just because I craved the taste from our restuarant visit. I think people have to realize that this is not a chaotic restuarant. In and out, ‘Next Please’?! We will definetly be going back again. I want to tell everyone about this place. I hope you enjoy the food as much as we did. Yummy!

There is no organization with the wait staff, I felt so sorry for a couple that waited nearly an hour just to place an order. Management and the owner should be ashamed!
Extremely slow. We showed up at noon. Did not get waited on for 15 minutes. 20 min later received salad. 40 minutes later received soup. 20 min later received food.. 2 hours to get a simple lunch. This was very dissatisfying. The restaurant was only about 50pacity. The wait should not have been this long for a simple sushi lunch. The wait staff was very short and not inviting. The food was good. The price is high for the quality of service.
Great. We have been here at least six times and have never had a bad experience. The food is great, sake martinis are even better, and the staff is extremely nice and helpful. We look forward to our next trip back.
Atmosphere is nicer than expected for being in a strip mall. They do a nice job on presentation, the sushi plates came out with drawings made out of soy sauce which was neat. The sushi was pretty good, Mexican Roll was a unique item I haven’t seen at other sushi places. It wasn’t my favorite because it has a lot of cilantro.
Totally a hidden gem!. Well, I could see how people could miss this place because it seems a little hidden back in that shopping center.. BUT… if you’re lucky enough to find it? AMAZING food! We loved the interior, the server was funny, quick on her feet and attentive and … oh yeah; like I said… AMAZING food! I’ve yet to find a place where the sushi is equally as good as the cooked entrees but every last thing we’ve tried has been no less than phenomenal. So glad we found it. Would recommend to anyone.
