Great Chicken. We have visited Schwabenhof several times for the fish fry, but I have always opted for the chicken. My wife likes the fish. I find the chicken is always done right and the breast meat is always moist. We are both pleased with the flavors, the service and the prices. Now, If they would just serve unsweetened iced tea.
Schwabenhof. Go with plenty of time. Enjoy the German beer and realize that these girls bust their tails to get you your fish. They have a whole row of tables some much larger than others. Make sure if you are doing an all-you-can eat plate order more right away when your first plate comes, and make sure to have enough beverages to get through. Great food!
Just how good is their food?.. We will never know how good the fish and chicken are and we no longer really care. That is because after sitting there for just over 10 minutes last night we weren’t even acknowledged. That is just rude! The waitresses were taking care of the other patrons around us. A few other waitresses appeared to not be very busy at all. One finally came over after we put our coats on. Too late! Apparently they have a fairly good business so they won’t miss us and we won’t miss them..
Fish fry= yummy melt in your mouth goodness 🙂 highly recommend it!!!! <3 Katie
Great place for a fish fry! I have been going here since I was a baby and still enjoy it! The only criticism that I have is our waitress wasn’t that attentive not asking us if we wanted more fish when the table got all u can eat fish fry. I still thoroughly enjoy it! 🙂
How can you not like it?. Wensdays prime rib and all you can eat fish fry, friday all you can eat fish fryand on friday a carry out fish fry meal, for about 8 bucks, u get choice of potato pancakes, fries and something else.u also get a nice slice of bread, coleslaw, tartar and some lemon, u get atleast 3 pieces of fish atleast 7-12 inchs long and filling.you cant beat it for 8 bucks and on top of this they got fried chicken to and for the same price you can get a half chicken and half fish plate to go.if im not going out with family or friends on a friday i always go here, walk in tell them what you want, 5 mins later its bagged up and your out the door, who wouldnt like that?
