Downhill. I frequent Taco City in Men. Falls as it’s close to my place of buisness, and I enjoyed the ‘fresh’ vs. ‘processed’ ingredients they would use. About a year ago, new ownership came in- been a disaster since. Prices jump $.30+ for a taco, for example….the signature ‘Taco City’ sauce was replaced with a bland/cheap ‘Chef’s Quality’ version…the meat seems to have been reheated from the previous day….the toppings- once plentiful, now skimpy…similar to that of Taco Bell (where you wonder if one sliver of cheese made it to your order). Just recently, ordered Chips & Salsa (to-go)- got to work, the salsa cap was about to explode off the cup. When removed, I dared to smell it to where it found it’s way into my garbage. I would recommend Arriba’s or something else in the neighborhood- Taco City needs some work.
