  Late Cake looks horrible. When we started looking for a baker for our August 2013 wedding we knew we wanted Cheesecake cupcakes. We met at the Cheesecake store and everything seemed great. They had so many flavors to choose from, and said they could decorate them however we wanted based on us sending pictures. Everything seemed fine until I arrived at my reception and there was NO CAKE! The hall assured me they were working on tracking down the baker and making it right. By the time I came in from pictures the cupcakes had arrived but were very disappointing. What I had sent was a picture of sunflowers and what arrived was a yellow gloppy mess made when the cupcakes all slid together and then were pulled apart. When my parents went to return the stand the Monday after the wedding the owner denied responsibility and said that he had delivered the daisies we asked for. He offered to give us a partial refund on the decorating and said that he would combine the refund with the deposit and send a check in the mail. It is now 5 months after the wedding. We have e-mailed, called, filed Better Business Bureau complaints and have still not gotten a sent back from this baker. If you want to save yourself a headache, hire someone else!

  Beware. Before you purchase from Joe read the BBB reports. Product is NOT as promised and any correction is a problem IF he answers your calls and emails. He didn’t even return my deposit for the cupcake holder I returned to him that he said he would send me a check for the deposit, He won’t even answer the BBB requests
