Gem for sushi in Mequon. This is a great little place for sushi that could be in Midtown Manhattan. It is authentic, fresh and fast. If you love fresh fish and skilled sushi chefs, try this place.
Eat here! I kid you not! The sushi is great, the staff is nice, the place is small and the green tea is lovely. Eat here. You will thank me. Also, get the white tuna sashimi. It is divine!26 Feb, 2011I absolutely love Midori! They introduced me to white tuna and it’s amazing. Turns out they have a restaurant.com coupon too. Win-win!
My first real sushi experience and I thought they did a wonderful job. The fish was nice and fresh the rice was slightly warm and the flavors gleamed. Yes, it isn’t the most well appointed place but it isn’t Applebee’s. I think the ambience was probably closer to what you might find in Japan as opposed to the streets of America. Good job.
The best in town. Have been going to Midori for years and only had slow service once — and it still was worth the wait. The sushi at Midori are just so much fresher and more imaginative than anywhere in town (and I’ve been to all the top ten, too, some of them for years as well). This is a Hong Kong-trained chef, not locals trained at MATC, and it makes a difference.I only wish Midori were closer to Milwaukee, as I would be there even more often.
One of the best sushi in town. Hands down, the best sushi restaurant in town. the food is incredible, Chef Lee definitely brings authentic sushi to wisconsin. I definitely recommend this place to everyone who enjoys sushi of the highest quality.
Midori. Love the food! It is one of my fav sushi places in town, and great prices! I have to say the service can be REALLY SLOW! Like 45 minutes – 1 hour to get food on a weekend, and chasing your waitress to try and get them to bring you the bill or your soda refills… I usually try to do carry out for that reason.
