The place was ok. The atmosphere reminded me of a nursing home. Food was ok nothing special. After reading the reviews I was expecting a lot more.
Good food. Discovered this place 2 years ago. The food is always good and waitstaff is always friendly.
After visting the Wooden Goose for the first time today I was higly dissapointed. At 11am on a thursday morning we waited over an hour to get out food. The service was also below expectation. Additionally, the food was just mediocure and I was expecting better. The atmosphere of the resturant was antiquated also. I expected better from what I had heard from other who go there.
Best breakfast in OZ County!. Where do I begin??? The consistency and quality at Wooden Goose is truly amazing. Over easy eggs are always cooked to perfection, and the hash browns are crispy on the outside, yet tender and moist on the inside. Pancakes are the best I’ve ever eaten anywhere Try the pork sausage links….deeelish! My only complaint is my veggie omlette could have been much better if they had actually sauteed the veggies a little. Atmosphere is great, with a country cozy vibe
Great place. We’ve been going almost weekly for 20 years. The food is consistently excellent. There have been some negative comments about service in other reviews, but we’ve always have very good service.
Terrible service but decent food. I have visited this establishment several times as it is close to my home in Mequon. The food is decent, however the service it the worst I have ever experienced. My first (and not last) rude encounter was over a year ago. The waitress, dressed in black with more piercings that you can imagine, was the rudest individual I have ever encountered in any restaurant establishment. My breakfast guests and I actually actually got up and left before even placing our order. While we had been frequent, weekly, visitors prior to this time this would be the last for almost a year. Just recently I decided to return, hoping the wait staff had changed. Unfortunately they had not and once again the service was lacking. Actually that is too nice. The service was abhorable. Never again will I step foot in this ‘white trash’ establishment. Their staff needs an ‘extreme makeover’. If you don’t belive me just log on the City Serarch and see the reviews listed on that site. I’m counting the days until a new owner/management team take over.A Local
