  Great family place. Real Mexican treats (or from what this Gringo can tell) made by friendly and attentive Mexican people (and one who appears to be white American) happy to do their best to describe unfamiliar foods to you. They serve a variety of chilled sweets, fruit cup with a spicy red sauce and Tajin seasoning sprinkled over it, housemade popsicles of traditional and exotic Mexican flavors, Mexican icecreams, virgin pina coladas (rum coming soon) servedin a pineapple with fresh fruit garnishes and umbrella, and what I would call street food. I had something I dont know the name of, but it’s basically a dry sheet noodle (they will describe it as deep fried flour) deep fried and topped with a mixture of shredded green cabbage, strips of tripe, Mexican soft crumbly cheese, creamy dressing and you can add hot sauce. I dont know what this is called, but I have had Menudo (Mexican tripe soup) many times made by several people and never liked it, but this was good. 🙂 This was my 2nd time there. The first tiem, there was a Mexican family there (grandma down to grandkids and a toddler). Grandma had the fruit cup I mentioned above and I asked her what it was called and she said she loved it and insisted through pantomime that I take a fork and taste a bite of fruit. Both customers and employees very nice. Bright and festive atmosphere with seating for around 15. They serve the food in togo cups and on styrofoam plates. I think they dont really have any signage yet, but theyre in the strip mall between Rocky Rococco and El Bollio bakery and restaurant on monona dr by the High School.
