  Absolutely horrible!!. Over priced dog food we got are food but no utensils and no one returned I had to get my own. Never did anyone ask how are food was. Will not return! !

  Good Food…….BAD SERVER!!!!!. It was our first time coming to this restaurant. Our friend come here frequently so we thought we would give it a try. When we first walked in there was no one to be seen. We waited for about 5 minutes before I went into the bar area to find a server so we could be seated. Ok, not off to a very good start but still willing to give the place the benefit of the doubt. Our server had long blond hair pulled back into a pony tail. I wish now, I would have gotten her name! At first, everything was good. She took our order, brought out the food, everything was correctly made and delicious. Then, we got the check. Our total food bill came to $36.63. No big deal, that’s about right. Then I see a predetermined tip on the bill. She charged up 20% tip. When I asked to speak to someone to get the check adjusted our server came out. I asked her why the tip had been charged to our bill. I asked her if she could adjust it down to 15%. She immediately turned the situation into a scene. She began to tell me that I was required to pay between 15 and 18%, that this was a rule. I asked her again to adjust it down to 15%. She said ‘ Really, thats pretty insulting’. I simply told her that I wasn’t trying to insult her or the establishment. I told her I was comfortable paying 15% and that is what I chose to pay. She continued to argue. I finially got fed up with her and told her to adjust it and I walked away. I went back to my table to wait for the bill. When she brought it out, she was very rude when handing us the bill. She announced that what I wanted her to adjust it to wasn’t even 12%. When I looked at what she had done, it was wrong. She didn’t adjust it to what I had asked. She simply heard what she wanted and put it to just under 12%. So, I hand wrote in a 15% tip and retotaled the bill. Circled it multiple times and left the restaurant.Never in my life, have I had a server tell me it is a rule I HAVE to pay a certain percent for a tip. A tip is what the customer chooses to pay! It’s a real shame this happened and our server was such a B**ch. WON’T BE BACK!!!!!!!!

  Good food.. So So service. My dad and I went here for lunch today, having been here a few times previously I was expecting the same nice experiences from before….was I wrong! We had to catch someone’s attention to be seated and upon sitting down we were served by the owner? Manager? He was in street clothes and he had a hard time understanding English. Food was good but my order was messed up, and I don’t think he knew the menu too well. I might come back here, but not for a long time

  I will never go back. The owner of the restaurant refused to honor out groupon because we ordered a promotional item (fish fry on Friday). Food was so so but the owner ruined it for my party of 4.

  Relaxing atmosphere, great food!. The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere with booths large enough to seat six with room to spare. A waterfall in the next room added to the relaxing air. Portions were large and the food was fabulous. My 3 boys loved the fact that they could subsititute double on the rice and skip the beans, I substititued roasted potatoes for the rice with my entree.Service was great, too. The waitress took the boys challenge for hotter sauce than the creamy jalapeno dressing for the taco salad and brought out some verde salsa to add even more zest.A very enjoyable evening for the price and when 2 teenagers and one pre-teen are filled up without eating massive amounts of chips, it’s a plus!

  Good but not Great. I’ve visited the restaurant twice now and the food has been good. I’ve ordered the chimichanga both times and loved it. My husband didn’t care for his dinner and my girlfriend did not enjoy the taco salad at all. The atmosphere is nice and the waitstaff was a little slow. We were there when it wasn’t too busy on a Saturday afternoon. The food comes out timely but getting refills on drinks or the check took a while.

  Great food but….. I’ve been there twice and while the food is very good (except I think the cornbread is very dry and I didn’t like the fried ice cream – everything else was very good) and the atmosphere is unique, I have gotten the same terrible waitress both times. She wouldn’t refill our drinks, seemed agitated when we’d ask for something, was not friendly, and was VERY slow to come back and take our dessert order’s both visits! I would give this place 5 stars if it were not for the service by this particular server. I even saw the table in front of me flag someone down and ask if they could please get someone to take their order because she takes so long to greet the tables. I don’t care if a place has great food if the service is terrible! It just ruins the experience. I recommend this place but make sure you don’t get ‘Jill’ as your server!11 May, 2011Amazing food and atmosphere. I LOVED this place! It’s extremely clean and the food was fantastic! Unfortunately, our waitress was terrible! She was constantly M.I.A.! By the time we were done with our meal, we decided against getting dessert because it took our waitress yet another 10 minutes to come back after clearing our plates. The table next to us had a wonderful waitress and their desserts looks amazing!!! We will try it again because the food was THAT good! Hopefully, our next server will be good.
