Great buffet. We’ve been to a lot of different Chinese buffets but this has become our favorite. They watch their buffet offerings, and no container remains empty for long. Food is being brought out hot and fresh all the time. There could be a tad more variety, but maybe because we only go on Friday night we see the same things all the time. Their hot and sour soup is outstanding.

Great Buffet. Chen’s doesn’t look like much as it is in a strip mall. If you have been there during a busy time in the past and had to wait, they have now added a second section, taking over the store space to the east so there is much more seating. I have tried menu items, but the buffet is the best. While it is not a huge buffet, there are different offering on different nights of the week. Fish fry is included on Fridays. Fresh fruit, pudding, sugared donuts, etc. for dessert. Sushi is sometimes offered as well. My kids and I have made this a regular stop and the love it. I have taken many friends there and never had a bad meal. I would say one of the best Chinese Restaurants Southeastern WI.

Surprisingly Good. I wasn’t expecting much out of this little strip mall, but ordered carry out because my granddaughter wanted it. We walked in before 5:00 and the place was packed and people just kept coming steadily for both seating and carry out. Obviously a lot of people like this place. And, I must admit, it smelled delicious when we walked in. It had a cute seating area, and I can’t wait to come back to try their buffet. We had sweet and sour chicken, chicken lo mein, Kung Pao chicken with peanuts, and crab ragoon. My only complaint was that the sweet and sour chicken only included sauce, chicken, and rice with no peppers or pineapple or anything in the sauce. However, I would still order it again as the flavor was excellent. The fried chicken chunks were meaty and tasted like they were cooked in fresh oil (unlike the last place we tried). The Kung Pao chicken with peanuts had an excellent flavor, great sauce, plenty of meat and peanuts, and seemed as though it would be nutritious along with being tasty as it was packed with vegies. My granddaughter thinks their lo mein is the best. It does have a very good flavor, but it seemed to pick up a little of the flavor of the cardboard carton. I wish this was packed in one of their plastic containers, but it was still fine. The crab ragoon was the typical fried triangles, but they had plenty of filling and were very tasty. As I said, I can’t wait to go back and try their buffet!

Great Buffet for the Price!. Chen’s Kitchen is a staple for dining out in Milwaukee. The food is usually delicious, and offers a WIDE variety of Chinese (and American for the kids) choices. The food is hot and plentiful. The buffet is only 7 or 8 dollars, well worth its price, and all you can drink soda is less than a buck. The buffet includes dessert – fruit, ice cream, jello, and cakes. All in all, a great bargain and a tasty meal that will have you coming back again and again and again. Visit Chen’s!

Excellent buffet and take-out for the price!. Chen’s Kitchen features an all day buffet in addition to carryout. The buffet has a wide variety to choose from and is generally kept fresh. Best to come when it is busy (noon time and dinner time) to ensure that the buffet food is fresh, but regardless, they are constantly bringing out fresh food. This can be held true for any restaurant which offers a buffet. Be sure to check the local magazines and newspapers for coupons!
