Top of my Thai/Asian Food Restaurant List!. On a recent visit to Cy’s for lunch, I brought some work colleagues that had not been there in awhile and had the urge for some Thai cuisine. In addition, the remaining at the office gave us their take out orders.As always, nobody was disappointed! A majority of the orders were Cy’s Golden Garlic (chicken), Cy’s Drunken Noobles (chicken) and his famous Evil Curry. I had my favorite, the shrimp Pad Thai. Cy…you are the best at preparing your shrimp. They are so suculent! The waitstaff is always prompt and friendly and the turnaround time from order to table presentation is something I’ve been most impressed with.There are a number of great restaurants in the Valley, but Cy, you and Vong and your staff will always be tops on my list!
A true gem. An excellent Mandarin place to stop for Thai food, mostly curry based dishes. The meal starts out on a high note with a rice and penut sauce appatizer and a wide array of Asian Imported beers and a nice Wine selection. While a bit confusing for one’s first visit, there is a very large variety of spiciness and flavor among the many different curry dishes My reccomendations for some of the spicer and more intensely flavored curries are the Five Star and the Evil with a good mild curry being the Fusion or Green. The restaurant is rather small and often you feel like your table conversations will be anything but private but I must admit that the cozy small layout adds to the ambiance of the room. The Service is friendly and perhaps the coolest thing about this place is that the Chef (Cy I’m assuming) will personally visit every table to see how your food is every single time. This restaurant really reminds you of that perfect little gem that is hardly noticable but in many ways…almost perfect.
Great Time. Came here for the second time while visiting family. We had a wonderful meal and great service. It was great to see the chef come out and talk to us and ask personally how the meal was. Pretty sure Grandma had a memorable experience.
When they say spicy, they mean spicy. Great lunch variety of curry and stir fry. Varying degrees of spice and many veggie / meat options. Very enjoyable. Crowded so expect a wait. Worth it.
Gem in a small town. We weren’t expecting much based on the other available restaurants in Neenah, but Cy’s was a gem. We stayed in Neenah when travelling to see a Packer’s game, so we didn’t know what was around. After reading some reviews online, we tried Cy’s Asian Bistro and it didn’t disappoint. The standouts were the soup and the pad thai (which wasn’t overly tomatoey like other asian bistros). Food was well priced and staff were very friendly. Would recommend for locals or those travelling and wanting something beyond the chain style restaurants.
Great sevice, super food. And the enviorment and food are truely authentic. Just don’t believe the gps for finding the place. It was west of 114, not east. Have to admit the adventure of finding this place was well worth it!
