Great food, i love this place even though it’s a little pricey. Food quality is always high , if u want cheap, hit the buffet lunch.
2 full blooded Mexicans walk into a restaurant and then walk out..strangest dinning experience in a long time..give it shot.
A bad joke.. Zacatecas is a very good example of a very BAD restaurant.
My husband and I just went there for a date night out. We thought the prices were expensive for a Mexican restaurant. He had a moito that was $12 and I had the worst glass of wine I have ever had. It was $5 for a chardonay which is cheap but expensive for the taste. We both had chimichagnas. His had shredded beef and he said it was quite bland. I had a ground beef chimichanga, and they put potato in it! It was terrible. Worst Mexican food I have ever had.
Not a Ho-Hum Mexican Resturant. If you’re looking for an ordinary Mexican restaurant (jalapenos and ground beef) with the same choices and flavors as all the rest, then this is not the restaurant for you. It is unlike an other, anywhere! I have eaten here several times and find the flavors, menu choices, and service to be outstanding! LOVE the mango pico de gallo and salmon. When the family wants Mexican, which is quite often, we drive an hour north to eat here. I highly recommend Zacatecas. You will not be disappointed.
Just awful. We went there Monday night 1/28/2013 and thought that we would have a nice Mexican dinner. We were not impressed at all. First, the chips came out and they were out of a package (not made fresh). The chips were not as unimpressive as the warm salsa was. The warm salsa was as tasteless and bland as printer paper. We only at three or four before we just could not stand it and gave up. The waiter did not catch on. I did not complain because I was not sure how to tell them that they could not have even cared about the food they put in front of us. IT WAS THAT BAD. Then our main courses came out. I was equally unimpressed with the main course. It was tasteless and under spiced. These people that run could not possibly taste their own food. It was just awful. What a waste of money. It was so bad that I felt like telling them we would not pay. However, we just politely left and vowed never to return. We talked with others that had a similar experience.
15.00 Margaritas is a bit pricey. There wasn’t a lot of flavor in the food. We wouldn’t go back but it wasn’t terrible.
