Sushi is good for the soul. And this place has good sushi. It was yummy in my tummy. But there were no 4rks. The service was good but not very friendly. Very impressed. The sushi rolls were very fresh tasting. There was quite an assortment of fun combinations and the presentation of the food looked really good. This is in my top two sushi places in the Waukesha Milwaukee area. We had four rolls and couldn’t decide which was our favorite. Then we had to order two more because it was that good. We also appreciated the complimentary soup to start.
Pretty Good Sushi. After I read the review where the person said the Big Tuna is really a chinese restaurant that serves sushi, I felt compelled to write a review, I mean the name of the place is Big Tuna, no where in the name should you get the idea that this is a Chinese restaurant. Every Sushi restaurant serves dishes for non-sushi eaters. But I digress, the sushi here is good and fresh, the only knock I have is that the rolls are a little on the smaller side so don’t be afraid to order the 3 roll maki or 3 rolls in general. I am not big on the saucy boutique sushi, and they do have sushi like that for those that prefer it (not that there’s anything wrong with that), but they have good choices for good straight up sushi and rolls. Their presentation is good, quality is good, if your in New Berlin, its worth a try.
Amazing and fresh!. I have had sushi all over the city and none compare to big tuna. the sushi is so fresh and delicious that i want to eat there every day. the flying fish roe and the red snapper are wonderfully flavorful in all the right ways. the rolls are all made with such precision and care. the presentation is clean and beautiful. the service is attentive and friendly. if you want incredible sushi and a great atmosphere (even the bathroom is cool!), big tuna, new berlin, has my highest recommendation!
Excellent, as always!!. My favorite! Having little to no options for anything decent in the Muskego area, this has been my haven. It is always fresh, delicious, and severd with great care and in a wonderful, clean, friendly environment. The tuna tataki appetizer is a perfect start, the special rolls are all great. Having lived in all parts of the US, this area is in need of authentic cuisine, Big Tuna is a great example of adapting the authentic and expected.
Great Place. We have been here a few times and everything has been consistently excellent. The food is always fresh and tasty. The staff is friendly and attentive. The decor is interesting and relaxing. Top notch in every way.
