Yum. Not my favorite restaurant of this style in town but still really good. Depending on what you want, I would suggest Egg Roll Plus or Rice Palace.
Singha restaurant, now. Place has been renamed. i believe its the same owner, if not, the guy in charge is awesome. food is the best non-american (probably the best overall too) ive had in the region. perfect balance of flavors, concepts, and look. it’s fantastic.restaurant itself is small with a simple setup, but the food is A+. GO
A favorite restaurant in town. We have literally been customers of Pad Thai restaurant since they opened many years ago. As we travel I do try thai restaurants everywhere because this is one of my favorite foods, and everywhere I go I compare their thai food to this little restaurants and I have to say that rarely will they ever come close to the quality I get from here. I am spoiled! That said, our favorite things here are egg rolls, Tom Kha Soup (chicken, shrimp, tofo, whatever we like them all), Pad Thai of course, chicken panang (actually anything panang, SOOOO fricken goooooood! ask them to add pineapple for extra goodness), their satay (all good). Everything else they make is also great, using fresh vegetables, good quality curries, good meat & seafood, but usually when we come here we are craving the above so we have to order that.
Favorite place in town. Pad Thai is likely my favorite restaurant in Eau Claire. First and foremost, the food is great, and dishes vary enough to always be interesting. You can choose between four levels of spice, and nearly everything can be made as a vegetarian dish. Prices are nice, and Pad Thai is right downtown, which makes the experience feel that much better. As for reviews that mention how long the food takes — I would say that’s a bit unrealistic. I’ve never had a serious issue, but I also always keep in mind that this is a small Eau Claire business that is usually fairly busy.All around, this is a great restaurant that I’m always happy to support.
The food is good, authentic, and flavorful. But, the service is so slow. It took 5 mins. for me to get seated, then 10 mins for them just to ask me what I wanted to drink. I waited 20 mins for my food to arrive, and by that time I only had 10 mins to scarf down my food. I would only recommend this place if you have more than an hour to spend on your meal.
Best Thai Food Anywhere. We’ve eaten Thai food at many places throughout WI & MN, and Pad Thai is the best, by far. It’s a bit sweeter and Americanized than others, but guess what? I’m American, so it’s perfect!
Great Thai Food. And not just great for Eau Claire, great for anywhere. It’s family run in a small older building. Nothing fancy for seating but the food is unbeatable. Large servings, very inexpensive and all the food is delicious.
