Very confused of what this place is trying to be. Decor reflects the name, but that is it. Menu is simple, but diverse. Seafood, chicken, sandwiches, pasta dishes & salads. Decent beer selection, but the tap system looked like a fruit fly farm. Service is casual and no one appeared to be in a hurry. I sat at the bar. My bartender was adequate and even knew a few things about the beer selection. I settled on a New Glarus Yokel which was my first sampling. A little hoppy, but not bad. Very smooth flavor which I grew to enjoy. For dinner, a seafood/pasta dish special. Good flavor, but a little to much going on with all the different ingredients. I did enjoy it, but doubtful I would get it again. I have been here before and had a better experience the first time. Not that this was bad, but very unmemorable.

Great atmosphere, food ok. Food was good both times, but we tend to go for drinks. Love the atmosphere and building. Love the fire pit!

Refused service at 945. Thanks Alexander. #wortless #galloway23 Mar, 20149:50 on a Saturday night and Alexander wouldn’t serve us. Thought it was open til 10. #unprofessional.

Love this place. I love this place! The food is great. I usually order the mussel dish, veggie burger, or quinoa salad. The one time I strayed and ordered some type of fried fish sandwich, I was pretty disappointed. Everything else has always been amazing though. The atmosphere is charming and rustic. The best part about this place at night is the wood fire they have burning in the back. The bartenders aren’t the nicest and the hours aren’t the best, but besides that, this is one of my favorite places in Eau Claire.

This was a great time and great food. Cole was our waiter and was the best I have ever had. We had 10 kids in our party of 18 and he was amazing. It was a great place to celebrate our parents 40th.

Went for a Christmas party and ate from a special menu. Food was ok though not worth the prices. Service was not good. We had a large group but had arranged the event so expected to have adequate servers. I ordered the same item as many others at our table but received it almost 15 minutes later and everyone else was done eating. Atmosphere was nice but everything else wasn’t.

Lively night at The Livery. This was not my first time at The Livery. I come back because I like the decor and the friendly staff. The place is always clean and everybody seems to be having a good time. The fish tacos are very good. My only complaints are that some of the dishes are not healthly, too much grease. Sorry, but this does matter as on ages. Not everything has to be deep fried in this country. Only other complaint is that sometimes the place is so filled up that people were standing right nesxt to us as we were trying to eat! It’s nice to have some room. Over all I liked the place and will come back again.
