Great service. Order the Italian bomber sandwich and rice pilaf on a Friday night which everyone knows is fish fry night. So was very happy that was fast service and a great sandwich. The best steaks in town.. My husband and I went there on Sweetest Day and we both ordered steaks. He had the Prime Rib and I had the Dandy Filet. They were amazingly tender and had such a good flavor. We have been all over Milwaukee and downtown for a good choice steak and we found our new favorite spot. A must try!!
Wonderful Steak Diane & Prime Rib!. Service was fantastic! I can’t believe the bad reviews!! We had steak prepared to perfection as was the prime rib!! Some people are hard to please and shouldn’t go out to eat! We LOVED everything! Thank goodness for the coupon we had or this awesome find would still be a secret!! Stop HERE and see for yourself!!
Best bar in Oak Creek. Hands down best burgers in the Milwaukee area. From what we’ve been able to find, they also have Green Bay caliber fish fry. No other restaurant’s fish fry in Milwaukee even compares to Green Bay. Packer games are a blast to watch there too. If you hit it right, the bartender was giving free shots for every Packer touchdown and you get free food at halftime. Atmosphere is friendly and close. From someone who comes from a bar family, this one meets all my requirements for a good one with great food.
Rude waitress. Ate there last night . Food was acceptable . Waitress was totally rude . From what I read in other reviews , the bad attitude seems to originates with the owner-manager . Underserved tip was already added to the menu . Have no intension of ever going back .
Poor service, gratuity included, waitress didn’t care. The place was packed at 5:15 pm on a Friday night during Lent. We waited over half an hour for our food and when it did come not everyone in our party was served. We ate our food while ours was warm. Ten minutes later the last person in our group was served and the baked potato was cold. In addition to our party of five, 18% gratuity was added, no amends were made for the late cold food, and our party is now scratching Jim Dandy’s off our list. Very disappointing.
GREAT FOOD – GREAT PEOPLE. I looked over the other reviews before I wrote this and I don’t know if these people went to the same place. Jim Dandy’s has great food, great service, huge portions and its the only place I’ve ever been where anything you order is going to be great. All of the people are friendly and the price is right. I have never talked to any one who has not agreed with this review. But do yourself a favor and try it for yourself I know you will also agree.
