Outstanding and Family-friendly!. My wife, two kids (an 8 year old and an 8 month old), and I ventured out one day to try something new and local. We came across Jim Dandy’s and decided to give it a try. We couldn’t have made a better choice!The 8y/o had the Mac-n-Cheese, and the wife had the Dandy Burger. I had the Filet Mingon dinner and a Bloody Mary. The Bloody Mary was well-prepared and was brought – without question – with a small beer chaser. It was excellent! As part of the dinner, I had a soup, as well as bread. I ordered the chili. It had a nice spiciness to it. The bread came shortly into the chili, and it was great. Salted top, homemade, and warm. A perfect combo with the chili. The rest of the meal came – the Mac-n-cheese, the wife’s burger, and my filet. The filet was perfectly cooked (medium), and the veggies on the side were great. My wife says that her Burger was outstanding – well-prepared and delicious. The food portions were quite large. For those looking at the price of the filet ($30 at the time of this writing), don’t be shy, it’s worth it!Overall, we were very pleased with both the food as well as the place itself. The hostess/waitress was very polite and interacted with the kids (most servers seldom do this..). You won’t be disappointed if you try this place out!

One of their employees decided to write back to me that I need a life and I should stop eating so much. Sara must be the rude waitress that they are talking about because to come out with comments like that just backs up the bad reviews. Don’t waste your money there, the service is awful and the food (if you wait that long) is so so. There are so many good bar and restaurants inn the Oak Creek area, try Erv’s Mug, they have a great fish fry!
