Usually good. Usually the Dish is really good, and there pizza is awesome. However today i had horrible service by the cashier Brittany and whoever the manager was. They kept me on hold for a long time, was rude and defensive. There website had the wrong prices on it, and when i mentioned it, they said to bad, you have to pay the new prices. It was only a $4.00 difference, but they lost a $45.00 order and a customer that purchases at least once a week.
Food was Bad…. Bakery was great. I received the the menu and refrig magnet on my mailbox and decided to go in and try it out. I had the spaghetti with meat sauce, but was not very impressed with the sauce at all. The sauce tasted very bland and was piping hot like it came out of a microwave oven and almost burned the roof of my mouth.The spaghetti at Dennys just down the road was 1000 times in taste. On the plus side I did purchase a cherry kringle from the bakery there and it was delicious. I may give the restaurant another try, but aside from the bakery I wasnt impressed at all.
No thanks!. I took my father to this restaurant twice. The first time they were fairly new and I really did not care for the customer service or the food. I figured they needed to get into the swing of things so we gave them another chance recently. Nothing changed. The customer service is bad-not very welcoming at all. For the prices the food is not that good and the portions are small. The bakery from O&H is fantastic and if I go back that will be the only reason.
Average at best. Took my family here to eat and all the food we had was average at best. I can make better food and cheaper at home. We may give their pizza a try, but other dishes we will pass on….
The Dish~Great Pizza. We have stopped in at The Dish in Oak Creek several times now and ordered their pizza and each time it has been consistently wonderful. The pizza is thin light crust, has great sauce and tasty Italian sausage. Our son tried the bbq chicken pizza and it was delightful as well. If you want to save a bit of time try calling in your order then it will be ready to eat when you get there. We scan the O&H Bakery while waiting for our pizzas to cook and pick out dessert. We always leave with a kringle or two and they are always fresh and tasty. The Friday fish fry is lightly battered and does not come with fries but mashed potaoes or pasta are the side choices along with fresh marble rye and a small side of cole slaw. There are also sandwiches and pastas, soups and salads on the menu board though we haven’t tried any of them yet. The also serve breakfast before 11 am.It is a walk-up and order place similar to Panera Bread, and there are several booths inside to sit as well as outdoor seating alongside of the building. The place is immaculate and cozy. The staff have always been warm and friendly.If you want to try a great little spot for eats and sweets, try the Dish!
Wow! Very impressed.. My wife and decided to try out this new restaurant since we heard it was owned by a local family. We ordered a farfalle pasta dish with grilled chicken in a vodka sauce and a pizza with a bunch of toppings. The pasta dish was ready in about 5 minutes with the pizza taking only about 15 minutes. Both were wonderful! Nice portion size. The pasta sauce had just the right amount of spice with juicy chicken strips and freash tomatoes. The pizza crust was light and flavorful with all fresh ingredients that blended perfectly with the pizza sauce. You can tell they have a top notch chef that knows his way around a kitchen. I’m gonna recommend to all my friends and will definately be going back.
Disappointed. We tried The Dish tonight for the first time. I tried calling ahead to place an order and no one answered. We ordered the beef stroganoff and chicken carbonara. The beef stroganoff was ok at best. Full of onions. The chicken carbonara was watery, flavorless and also full of onions. The bruschetta was gross. Won’t be back.
