  Fabulous customer service. Good food. Nice addition to Oconomowoc. Went to Buca Sunday evening around 6. Restaurant was quiet and classy. Family friendly but not in a chuck-e-cheese kind of way, it would suit both special family occasions and date night. I ordered the Parmesan peppercorn penne, and my husband ordered one of the specials: beef Wellington. Starters were quite good: soup was nice, salad was very fresh and veggies were at peak (tomatoes were crazy sweet!). Then they bring out corn bread–Buca? Italiano? Weird, maybe, but TRY IT! Fabulous, crumbly but moist and sweet in a wonderful way. Seriously, try it. Dinner was good too, my chicken was perfectly cooked and the pasta was done well also. My hubby ordered his beef medium (shame, I know). It arrived quite close to rare. Not one to complain or send back food, he shared my chicken and ate his side dishes (also good) and I enjoyed part of his tenderloin (by the way, an excellent cut, buttery and wonderful -just too rare for his taste). The manager stopped to inquire about our meal, and we confessed the meat was underdone. Apologies galore! Then the manager brought us a heavenly tiramisu and asked us to come back again. We WILL be back. Great service by wait staff and management, good food and very nice atmosphere. So glad to have a nice upscale restaurant in oconomowoc -welcome Buca and thank you!

  Crab/Lobster Bisque. Delicious. Benny is an amazing Chef. All of his food is exceptional.

  Delightful touch of class in Oconomowoc. We are a couple in our 60’s and enjoy Bucca on a regular basis. We actually had New Yeears Eve Dinner at Bucca! I has Chicken Parm and it was a *10* !! My husband had a steak and it was soooo tender and grilled exactly the way he loves it. Enjoyed cocktails also and they were top notch, plus excellent service, food very hot, and friendly, extremely competent service. Whenever we eat at Bucca we are greeted and treated like family. THANKS to Benny and crew for offering this fine eating establishment!

  Omelets. Wisconsin omelets loaded with everything05 Feb, 2015BUCA HAS VERY GOOD FOOD ALLDAY. I am from watertown wi. my wife and I eat at buca about 1 time a week. They have very fine food and great people working there. I completely disagree with the CHIEF CHEF review posted 08/17/ 14 the food is very good and NOT OVER PRICED. I also do not agree with REVEIEW POSTED 01/15/15 that these are trumped up reviews and this is NOT A DUMP AS YOU PUT IT. BUCA is a VERY FIND PLACE . We also have friends that eat here.04 Nov, 2014Best food in oconomowoc, wisconsin. BUCA is at 515 E. Wisconsin avenue, Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. It has very good food and lot of it and a lot of choices. The owner is one of the chiefs and has a very good crew. It is very clean restaurant. It is open all day and a lot of parking

  Does anyone believe these fake reviews?. Amazing how there are all these glowing reviews (from people who have only wrote 1 review on this site) of a restaurant that has only been open 6 months after 3 different failed names before it. Went here the other night; pull in and the parking lot was empty…. was seated by the hostess and waited literally 10 minutes before anyone even came to ask us for drinks or anything. We promptly walked out and will not return. If you believe any of these painfully obvious trumped up reviews then you belong eating at this dump

  Don’t agree with that complaint!. I was recently at Buc’a and had the cheesy potatoes, with a vegetarian omelet. The potatoes were wonderful and DEFNITELY not frozen…sauces NOT from a can. I am shocked anyone would say that. We have been to Buca five times. The Chicken Ceasar Salad was to DIE FOR!!!! I had excellent French toast….Yes, I could make it but why should I when I can have Buca’s??? 😉 Loved the Chicken Parm. . . absolutely loved, loved, loved it! Very obviously made from scratch and so delish! My husband loved their Ravioli, Reuben Sandwich, which was large and very good. .. . the soup/Lobster Bisque, was so good and didn’t taste sweet at all, very rich and filling, so there’s another disagreement to a former comment. The staff at Buc’a are Johnney-on-the-spot, friendly, and very professional. The place is neat and extremely clean, and food comes to the table very hot! Tablecloths and candles grace the tables for the evening meal. We have now chosen Buca as our favorite family restaurant in Oconomowoc, and will be eating there quite often. Oh, had the fish fry and it was good too – have had two fish fry’s since at OTHER restaurants that were horrible. We will return to Buc’a where we know the quality and cooking standards are up to par. So there you have it. People are never going to agree, and there is always someone who will complain about something, but I highly recommend you try Buc’a. You will not be sorry.

  Buca Serves up Great Meals. Portions are Huge for the Money!!. My Husband and i eat at Buca quite often. It has become one of our favorite places to go in town.We have taken our grown children their and they like it as well. We have all tried many different things on the menu. We have been there for Breakfast, Lunches, and Dinners. The quality of food is much better than any of the other places that were in there before. The help is very friendly and helpful. The food portions are really quite large for the money. I always am walking out with a box when I am finished eating. I have tried their desserts they are excellent as well. We love the warm bread on the table. I also like the wine choices that are on the menu.If they keep up the quality of the food and service, I think they will do very well. I would recommend trying it for yourself. I don’t think you will be disappointed and if you are make sure you say something and I am sure they would make it right with you. They are very accommodating.
