Visiting from Boston. It’s difficult to imagine that there would be an authentic, outstanding Indian restaurant in Oconomowoc. But there is! All I can say is: GO…JUST GO!
Lamb masala, chicken curry, tandoori chicken, naan, jasmine rice. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Restaurant was a bit un kept but the food will keep me coming back!!!
Date lunch #1. The kids are in school all day now. My husband and I are having a date lunch every other week. Lunch #1@ Mantra Indian restaurant, the food is absolutely delicious! Everything we had, yum! It is NOT a pretty restaurant so don’t plan for a romantic experience. It is fast, flavorful and amazing…we will be back.
The food was really good, but the service was terrible! The waiter was a teenage boy, so perhaps he was new and inexperienced. I will give the restaurant another try. Hopefully the service will be better next time, because the food was so good!
EXCELLENT. I have never had much Indian food until I ate at Mantra. The food is excellent and their home made breads are out of this word. I now eat there at least 3 times a month. I hope the Lake Country folks adopt this wonderful restaurant as I would hate to see them leave due to lack of support.
Been there for buffet 3 times … First time the food was excellent ! Second time a month or so later the food was moderateThird time the food was just so so … Number of items had reduced and the quality had gone down as well. Service was not particularly great, there was no manager at site … Basically college kids running the showThis was a typical case of an Indian restaurant starting with great food and slowly dipping to become just another desi restaurant with moderate food
Authentic Indian food with exceptional service. The restaurant could have been a little cleaner but the food made up for it.
