Simply wonderful!. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the Pub. From the minute I walked in the front door I felt welcome and at home. Relaxing and quaint atmosphere with a pleasant mix of modern and classic Celtic music…the volume was just right.As a business traveler I often find myself dining alone in restaurants and I look for places that separate themselves from the ordinary. The Pub exceeded my expectations. I enjoyed an excellent meal with exceptional service.I started my meal with a glass of Merlot and a fresh garden salad. The complimentary bread was fresh baked and hearty (I would love to get the recipe!). My main course was the roasted pork tenderloin with steamed green beans and mashed potatoes. Exceptional! Cant wait to go back…I have a new favorite restaurant.Steve from Toronto

I learned The Pub usually has live music on Thursdays and a regular professional fiddler. The waitress executed her job perfectly and was able to be herself, it seemed. I am looking forward to taking my fiance out for dinner there soon, after having gone with a friend. The Pub does everything right from fresh tasting food, wonderful liquor, and amazing service. It could easily become a favorite dinner venue.
Local goodness. They try really hard here, and you can see their passion throughout the place. The decoration is amazing and entertaining. The cheese list was perfect. I recommend getting a cheese sampler. The portions are large, you won’t leave hungry. I had a roasted beet salad and then clams and mussels. I was so impressed they could tell me that the seafood came from IL and the person they bought it from. My husband had surf and turf and loved his roasted vegetables that had fennel in them.
Great atmosphere! Good food, nice people. Slant!
