Klement’s, Usinger’s, and Johnsonville all produce good products, but if you’re interested in experiencing old world hand crafted sausages consider the Sausage Haus. Brats, Italians, Polish, hot Hungarians, and my favorite Italians with green pepper and cheese. Great steaks, chops, and custom cut roasts as well.
Good Local Place. After driving from Milwaukee, discovered this place doesn’t serve cooked sausage only to go for grilling at home. Kind of disappointing but they do have 1 or 2 non-sausage items written on a chalkboard that they do serve cooked. Went with the reuben and it was tasty and a big portion. Fries served with were nothing special but overall a good place to get something to go if you’re in the area.
AWESOME. This place is awesome. I moved away from wisconsin 16 years ago and every time I go to visit I hit up the sausage haus. It is the most authentic old world sausage place around and the food is great.
Just had dinner there Philly cheese steak always a good choice but for good food and cheap prices you can’t go wrong. Always satisfied when I am done eating and my tummy’s full 🙂
This place has been around forever… If you want some decent meat, go here… None of the hit-and-miss grocery store meat. This is the real stuff all the time.
This is a neighborhood deli, butcher & take out only store. A classic, across the street from Fowler Park. The muffalatta sandwich is amazing and enough to feed 3 people generously. The sandwich is round and as big as a plate. Their soups are homemade. People generally bring food home or across the street to enjoy in the park. They make their own sausage and their Hungarian sausage is a fave of former Pres. Clinton. However, I think this place is in need of a serious remodel.
