The Cookies Are Wonderful…. Granted, the cookies are a bit on the expensive side… but they’re terrific. Big and chewy, and if you heat them up a bit they ooze and melt and mmmm. So terrific. We buy 5 to get 1 free, and it costs just over $6. But they’re so big they can easily be split in half and shared. We did go once for the ice cream and were unimpressed. So it’s cookies all the way, and I’m okay with that.
Billboard didn’t lie!. I was in town for a conference and noticed the billboard advertising the Best Cookie Ever on the drive in from Appleton. I was staying at a hotel down the road so we stopped in for lunch and cookies. I had the southwest pasta salad and lobster bisque, the food was good, but the price was a little high for the portion size. I ordered a dozen cookies in a variety of flavors. They indeed were the best cookies I have ever had! The birthday cake and lemon were outstanding! I shared the cookies with family and coworkers when I returned home and they all thought they were amazing! I am planning to order cookies soon and have them shipped to. Texas, they were that good! I look forward to returning to Oshkosh for the next conference, just so I can have the cookies!
Worlds Best Cookie. The worlds best cookie is the Cake Batter Cookie!! They melt in your mouth and take you back to your childhood with each bite. 🙂 They also have incredible Smoothies so if you don’t want coffee you can have a smoothie with whip cream!! Just a great place to stop in and meet a new friend or catch up with a friend you haven’t seen in a long time. We are very lucky to have such a sweet place to call ours in Oshkosh.
I was disappointed when I found plastic in my sandwich. and management didnt seem concerned. I did like the atomsphere.The cookies were good but.. I was disappointed when my sandwich was eaten to find what seemed to be plastic like a sliver of a zip loc bag. when i told management they said these things happen.no apology.We will not ho back.
Go For the Food; Stay For the Gift Shop!. Stopped by Caramel Crisp a couple weeks ago for a quick lunch. Got the Chicken Cashew Salad and the Mexican Chocolate Cookie. Both were delicious! I ate the cookie first of course! Poked my head into the gift shop just to look around and OMG it seemed to go on forever! I could spend all day in that shop just looking at all the cute stuff 🙂
An Oshkosh Gem!. If you’re looking for a great bakery, or cafe, or gift shop, or popcorn shop, or restaurant…then come to the Caramel Crisp!This place is a great place to grab a bite to eat with a friend or bring a book and sit in one of their comfy chairs with a great cup of coffee. They also have a cornucopia of handmade cookies, popcorn and other treats.And don’t forget to mosey on to the back of the cafe to find the entrance into their amazing gift shop!Honestly, I don’t know if Oshkosh could ever live on if this place ever closed.
