Why can’t I find good Chinese food in Oshkosh? The ratings pointed me to Jade Dragon but let me forewarn you, it’s just not that good. At best, the food is bland, like the rice. But it grows worse when otherwise poorly prepared proteins are given their best shot at having flavor by being soaked in sauce that probably right out of a jar.

The Best in Oshkosh. This is by far the best Chinese restaurant in Oshkosh. I love everything there except for the crab rangoon, but everyone I know loves the crab rangoon as well. The lunch menu is very inexpensive (about five dollars for each entree) and comes with soup, soda, egg roll, or crab rangoon, as well as either fried or white rice.The woman who answers the phone can be a little odd sometimes, but the food is always great. If you eat in the restaurant (as opposed to take out or delivery), the owner often comes out and gives free appetizers — which is how my husband got addicted to the dumplings.
