Great restaurant! Went for the first time tonight. Service was great. They went over the entire menu with us and gave personal recommendations and listed best sellers. We tried a few of the suggestions and they were wonderful. The dragon roll was soo good as were the crab rangoons. I would go again in a heartbeat and work my way through the sushi and appetizer menu. We ordered entrees also which were good but the sushi etc was even better. Also the volcano dessert was awesome.
Umm, yes. Please take me to Manilas everyday! Service is improving, food may take a bit bit thats because its freshly made, food is gourmet and filling, hip atmosphere. One main salad as entree but w their menu you have other healthy options. Veggies and protein options galore!
Ugh…. I’d wanted to try Manila for months but was put off by the menu prices, so I was thrilled when a friend offered to treat my partner and me. Unfortunately, I have little to report in a positive light. Our server had a good attitude, but our apps took forever. Our entrees came to our table ice cold and in two waves…and the plate we waited for was ice cold, as well. I make better sushi at home. Just about every dish needed salt or some seasoning, but none is on the table. We waited over 30 minutes for our server to bring dessert. I am giving two stars because the paint job looks nice and the live music was great. I’d rather drive to Appleton for a real restaurant experience.
My wife and I had dinner here before a movie. We informed our server on the amount of time we had and she made sure we had enough time to eat and still make it to our movie with time to spare without rushing our experience at the restaurant. She was very knowledgeable, very friendly and welcoming. The food was flavorful and the portion size was just right. I had the duck robato while my wife had one of their noodle dishes. The duck was amazing and cooked perfectly. The noodle dish was by far the best noodle dish I ever had, which our server recommended as it was one of her favorites and also listed as to why they were. We will definitely be returning for the food and for the wonderful service and friendliest server we have ever encountered in any dining experience we’ve ever had.
Terrible Experience All Around. Went there with a party of about 15 with reservations. We were pretty much the only people in the place. One bartender took forever to get any drinks to start. From there it just got worse. The appetizers and soup came out of the kitchen very sporadically. We waited another half hour then the waitress came out and said it would be at least another 15 min before the food would be ready. From the time the food started to come out until we were all served was about 45 min. Half were done and others did not have food yet. The rack of lamb that they talked up from her parents farm was completely raw and the steak was the same. It was by far the worst dining i have ever experienced by a mile.
Excellent. Great place for lunch or Dinner. Took some cowokers for a business lunch and one of them visited three times in two days, once for dinner with his wife and friends. Great atmosphere, even better food, awesome service.
Great find in Oshkosh. This resturant has an outstanding atmosphere that compliments Oshkosh. Food was great and service was too. A must
