Love, love, love. We are huge fans of the Cake Guru, we enjoy the cupcakes so much. The staff is wonderful and friendly and we love how they are willing to try our suggestions. Such an asset to our community. My favorite cupcake is Tiramasu and my hubby loves the triple chocolate.
Don’t Bother. Don’t bother calling them – they don’t answer the phone. Don’t bother leaving a message – the mail box is full. Don’t botherer emailing them – they won’t respond. Don’t bother going into the store – it is dirty, full of kids and they don’t acknowledge you are there. What a joke.
Poor Response/Professionalism. The website notes communication via email is preferred. I emailed requesting a cake tasting and never received a response. One month later I emailed again requesting pricing information and a cake tasting. It wasn’t until about one week after that I received a response that appeared to be an auto generated email with general cake information and to contact the business for a cake tasting or attend a group tasting. There was no personal response to the specific day and time I had already requested a tasting(in the first or second email I sent). I understand it is a business and did not expect a lengthy response, but an acknowledgement of my request would have been appreciated. First impressions last, and this is not a business I want to work with any longer.I have had the cakes before and while the presentation/design is beautiful, the quality of the cake is lacking. There is little filling in the cake (between layers) and the cake has always been more on the dry side (I’ve had it 3-4 times). I have now found a new cake vendor in Oshkosh and the quality of the cake itself is much better.
Cupcakes!. Tamara’s fabulous cupcakes are a common treat at our house — we’ve tried almost all her flavours — and they really are fabulous. A dozen never lasts the weekend here. Fantastic Wedding Cake. I live in Chicago Area but had my wedding in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. I found Tamera because her designs were amazing and she has won many awards for her cakes. I wanted a cake that tasted fantastic and looked classic with a twist. Tamera did an amazing job with my cake. It was four tier cake, black and white. I had marble, almond poppy seed, chocolate velvet, and carrot cake. I had the cake made for my wedding and to feed about 230 people. I have been to many weddings before, but at my wedding there was a line for the cake, and the whole cake was eaten and gone! I didn’t even get to try my favorite layer, almond poppy seed! Tamera was very professional, delivered the cake for a modest price from Oshkosh to Sheboygan, Wisconsin. I still get comments about my cake!I loved Tamera’s cakes so much I used her for my baby shower cake, and like at my wedding, the cake was gone! Her cakes not only look fantastic but taste amazing!
Awesome. Totally fun, busy little cake shop.We recieved excellent service and a gorgeous cake, Tamara was fun creative and reasonable in price, she offers tons of flavors, yummy buttercream and the coolest designs ever! Can’t wait to go back.
