I am usually not so critical, but I have been here multiple times and it is always the same. Just okay. There is absolutely nothing special about this place whatsoever. The service is as minimal as they can get away with. I would have Loved a second beer, but just the fact that I sat there for over five minutes before the bartender realized I had an empty glass inspired me to pass. And the food, ditto. You can get anything on the menu in twenty other places in Eau Claire. Now all of that being said, breakfast is a different story. Food & service are both very good. For some reason the ownership/mgmt seem to believe you need to have PYT’s behind the bar to be successful. Not the case and they are proving why. My advice, just go to the BWW across from the mall.
Best Burger. I ordered the Kelly Stout Stacker. It was by far the best burger I have ever had! It is a big burger. The host was very nice. Our waitress wasn’t anything special. She was either kind of shy or just completely apathetic. The atmosphere is charming. The one thing that ruined the end of our experience was loud music being blared out of one of the wait staff’s phone. She must have been doing her closing duties but she was out in the restaurant playing her music. An inappropriate rap song started playing after she had walked away for a few minutes. I was with my young niece and nephew so this irritated me. Service was lacking but the burger was amazing. Next time, I would probably just order it out.
Been here several times. Disappointed several times. Service was painfully slow prices spendy and food was hit and miss. Seriously u need to toast your English muffin for eggs Benedict and not fry the egg poaching hello ?!? Had all u can eat wings and they brought out four wings on the first plate. Very stingy. Go to milwaukee burger or Altoona family restaurant instead
Attention travelers. If you are visiting Eau Claire this is your spot, good food good (sometimes slow) service.. great pie.I travel every week and make this a regular while in Eau Claire
Chicken Cordon Bleu. Soooooo good!
Good for the area. Stopped in here during the all you can eat wings Wednesday for $7.99 – the wings were prepared nicely and were juicy off the bone. The beer selection was fun as well – I recommend their IPA.
I like the bar but they could use a new and improved dinner menu.
