I do not shop at the Dunkin Donuts, but I have almost exclusively purchased gas there since I moved right down the street in 2002. In February I purchased a car wash along with a fill up. We had a very severe winter so there were few opportunities to redeem the car wash. Little did I know that particular Shell only has a week expiration date on the car wash receipt. When I asked to have my Carr wash code reactivated, the little snot-nose pip squeak behind the counter proceeded to lecture me about paying attention to the expiration date, to which I rebuked him on his atrocious customer service skills. I also filled him in on the little known fact that expiration dates on gift cards and gift certificates under a certain dollar amount is illegal. Businesses are obliterated to honor gift cards/certificates that WERE PAID FOR..
